James DuMont talks ‘Get On Up’ ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and many other roles

James DuMontJames DuMont has an incredibly long and diverse resume of film and TV roles. From Seabiscuit and Catch Me If You Can to the Oscar winning Dallas Buyers Club and Lee Daniel’s The Butler, DuMont has performed in 100 films and television roles.

DuMont took time out of shooting to talk with The Global Dispatch/Dispatch Radio to discuss his career and upcoming projects in a new interview.

“It just kind of blows your mind,” he says of Dallas Buyers Club, reflecting on the “Cinderella story” of the film. He heap praise on the incredible direction by Jean-Marc Vallee.

DuMont discusses working so many projects: Treme, American Horror Story and previewed his upcoming film Get On Up, a James Brown biopic starring Chadwick Boseman as the famous musician.

Detailing his different roles, opportunities and his potential nicknames as “The Closer,” DuMont truly reveals why he’s an appealing addition to any set.
