Kevin Sorbo discusses ‘God’s Not Dead,’ standing up to atheist assertions and supporting faith based films
EXCLUSIVE: Kevin Sorbo will likely be remember forever for his role in Hercules, a breakout role in an incredibly successful show, but Sorbo’s resume continues to grow. Sorbo’s latest film is God’s Not Dead and took out time to speak with The Global Dispatch/Dispatch Radio about the film, the powerful message and his other projects.
“What I like about the movie is it brings in both sides,” Sorbo begins, noting that he plays the atheist Professor Radisson, “so you get that point of view and the opposing point of view.”
Shane Harper (Good Luck Charlie) plays the college student who stands up against Professor Radisson’s ‘God is dead’ statement.
Sorbo discusses this battle in schools (and on college campuses) and notes the movie cites real life lawsuits that have been spawned out of these conflicts.
Kevin Sorbo is a strong voice of his faith in Hollywood, discussing Bill Maher, encouraging Christians to stand up for their faith and that begins by supporting films like God’s Not Dead which will encourage more films like this to be made.
